REFLECTION 6

In the previous class on Tuesday, 17 March 2015, the attendance has been collected through one piece of paper due to Dr. Rozina has forgot to bring the actual attendance list. There are three presentations on the lesson plan. All the students have been enjoyed so far in the first lesson plan on listening. This lesson was also focusing on beginners like primary school students. For the remaining two groups, the lesson plans were quite enjoyable and sophisticated because it included the advanced learner in their lesson plan. During the final touch, Dr, Rozina has made some comment on the presentations that have been presented for the whole weeks. 

She gave us a compliment when she said that our works on the lesson plan were awesome even though we are not TESL students. On our next class on Thursday, many students were absent and Dr Rozina has asked why so many students did not turned up to class. The absentees were due to the midbreak that started on Friday. Therefore, many of the students took an opportunity to add one more day in advance prior to the break. Our lecturer has advised all of us to not skipped from class, and congregated again for all presentations and after that she briefly explained about our next assignment which was our second task and in order to make us alert about that and be prepare during the break. The second assignment that has been briefly explained by Dr Rozina was on Computer Mediated Communication. The RUBRIC for lesson plan has been highlighted by Dr Rozina on how the presentation be graded. So the students must fulfill all the criteria that has been illustrated in the RUBRIC. 

She also explained on how to get a most-mark-most objectives are achieved. Some of the ways were by producing a clear procedure and creating a good cohesion. Futhermore, she had mentioned  on the difference between teaching and lecturing and emphasized  the roles of teacher and why is it necessary to use worksheet as plan B (backup plan).
